Free GTA IV points expire

As you will no doubt remember, Grand Theft Auto IV was the biggest game launch ever. Everyone wanted a slice of the action and many retailers handed out free Microsoft Points as an incentive to get gamers to preorder the game in their stores. However, the flipside is that some of the free points will be expired at midnight 30th June.

So far the only confirmed batch are those which were given away by GAME. The 500 points which you may have received from there will be useless when the clock strikes twelve -?even if you have already added them to your account. If you got 1000 points from HMV for your preorder, your balance appears to be safe.
